About Me

Welcome to my site!!! My name is Bill Pech. I live in "The Heartland" Central Illinois. Here we get to experience all four seasons and love them all.
Most all the pictures on this site come right from my yard. I live in the country and can literally see to the horizon in the west and that makes for some beautiful sunset pictures you see here.

As I know a lot of you believe, I believe all things are from God. Whether it's a beautiful sunset or a butterfly in the flowers I believe He put it there for me (us) to enjoy. I try to see those things and recognize them as something God is doing for our enjoyment. It's kind of like "take time to smell the roses" saying... This is one of the reasons I came up with the name Majestic Splendors for my site. I got that in Psalm 8:1 that I have on the home page. I really believe all God's Work is Majestic Splendor. Isaiah 46:9 says..."For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is no one like Me"... A One and Only, a totally awesome God...Creator of All Things...	I believe it's up to us to recognize His awesome splendors and give Him the praise and glory for them. That's a little of what I'm trying to do with this website. Thanking Him by showing other people some of His works... Here's something to think about, Proverbs 8:26 - While He had not yet made the earth and the fields, Nor the first dust of the world. - God made the dust!!! why does everybody get upset about it?
Three pictures on this site have won awards (before I added the scripture) including the two on the Sunset 2 page (at the bottom) and Caleb (my youngest grandson) below on this page. They were chosen by the International Library of Photography to be published in their anthologies. (picture books) There have been thousands of photographers published by this organization but I still feel honored to have mine chosen...
Child Like Peace	Another reason for this site... I have spent countless hours combing the internet for free clipart. And all I really wanted was a free "Jesus Fish" or a cross. Just something to put on a site so that people coming would know I'm Christian. I would look and look and finally find one I liked. But, the people either wanted you to buy a CD with all their images or link back to their site with their banner ad. I didn't feel that was free at all and it really bothered me. I finally found a couple places that offered absolutely free stuff. Most the images I've made are from "ding-bat" fonts. I decided to try to make some and offer them free. I'm not the best when it comes to making "fishes" or "crosses" but they are free. If you like them and want to use them, please help yourself!!!

Proverbs 18:22 "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. Matthew 7:7 "Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure--pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return." Luke 6:38 Most all the scripture on my site are from the New American Standard Bible. Thanks to BibleGateway.com for making it so easy to make sure that God's Word available online the way they do...
